Responsive Web Design

Responsive web design (or RWD in short) is a relatively new and fast developing trend on the web. Lots of web designers and web developers we know are currently working on new responsive websites or they have their hands full with porting existing websites to responsive ones. Unfortunately, responsive web design seems to be quite hard to grasp for ‘not-so-tech-savvies’.

People ask us all the time: What is RWD? What is it good for? Do we need to do something about our current website? Can you give us some advice, you guys being usability and UX experts? Sure we can. More specifically, we will answer 2 questions:

1. What are the basics of responsive web design, without diving in the developer deep
2. How will users benefit from responsive web design?
