Approaches to Digital Marketing in Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands

IDG Connect, in collaboration with Sitecore, the global leader in customer experience management, has surveyed 53 marketers based in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands identifying themselves as marketing directors or mangers, chief marketing officers and vice presidents of marketing marketers, roughly of half of whom work at companies employing 1,000 or more people.
The results of the poll provide a sharp insight into which digital marketing channels and information sources are currently utilized by marketing departments within those three countries and profiles attitudes to management, implementation, automation and expansion of existing digital marketing project provision. They also pinpoint the challenges marketing departments face in personalizing content to increase customer acquisition and loyalty set against expectations for future strategy development.
